ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The SoTL Project Development Institute (SPDI) is a great fit for faculty, postdocs, and graduate students who are just learning about SoTL and are interested in developing a SoTL research project this year. We will meet weekly for 1 hour in person during the academic year. We guide the participants on the important steps in developing SoTL research projects and build a community of support for SoTL research at Auburn. We will lead our members through how to design, implement, and publish or otherwise share their SoTL research with our growing SoTL community. We will also address personal barriers to this research and give our members the tools they need to succeed in this growing field.
Faculty, postdocs, and graduate students are welcome to participate individually or in small teams. The institute meets weekly on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, September 8 through December 1, 2026.
