Getting Started with SoTL is an introductory workshop designed for those who are new to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). Participants will explore what SoTL is, why it matters, and how it can be used to investigate questions about teaching and learning in meaningful and systematic ways. The workshop will also consider when faculty engage in SoTL, practical steps for getting started, and common venues for sharing this work through publications and presentations. Ideal for beginners, this workshop offers a clear and accessible foundation for anyone interested in using inquiry to enhance student learning.
