TIGER Tech Leaders (Technology, Innovation, Growth, Efficiency, and Results) is Auburn University’s largest AI-enabled community, bringing together faculty and staff to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance teaching, learning, and everyday work.

As AI continues to transform higher education and the workplace, TIGER Tech Leaders offers Auburn employees an opportunity to build their AI literacy, discover practical applications, and learn alongside colleagues from across campus. The initiative encourages responsible AI use, collaboration, and innovation while helping faculty and staff develop the skills and confidence to integrate emerging technologies into their roles.

What to Expect

TIGER Tech Leaders meets virtually every other Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. CT via Microsoft Teams. The 30-minute virtual sessions showcase innovative and practical uses of AI, featuring demonstrations, real-world examples, and insights from colleagues across Auburn.

Sessions are designed for faculty and staff across all disciplines and departments, regardless of their prior experience with AI. Whether you are just beginning to explore AI or already incorporating it into your work, TIGER Tech Leaders offers opportunities to discover new approaches, exchange ideas, and consider how AI can support your daily responsibilities.

Initially subsidized by the Mission Enhancement Fund, TTL was born of the university’s Microsoft 365 Copilot Beta Program, which launched in spring 2024. The program is collaboratively administered by the Biggio Center and the Office of Information Technology. TTL was originally overseen by Moriah Kent and is now led by Katelyn Nelson and Hannah Carroll. Asim Ali and Jill Albin-Hill provide oversight and support.
