    Professional Experience

    Professor of Flute at Auburn University with more than 18 years of experience in higher education as a faculty member, performer, and educator. At the Biggio Center, Virginia's work focuses on faculty development, teaching and learning, generative AI, course and assignment design, and effective teaching practices. Areas of expertise include active learning, AI in higher education, and designing meaningful learning experiences for students.
